Read This Review On The Digital Nikon Coolpix Camera

Why all the antagonistic reviews? The digital nikon coolpix camera is impressive and quite an eye-catcher! The touch screen is responsive and I find that using the stylus helps against fingerprints. The screen is nice and large but, like some other reviews, is just a little grainy. Rest assured, however, that the actual appearance of the picture on the digital nikon coolpix camera is far superior than what you see on the screen. Pictures are sharp and true to color! So far I particularly liked having the ability to write on a photograph with the stylus.

I've been working with this camera in a number of settings and subject matter and I just love it. As a ace in the field, I wanted a camera that would have the zoom capability and the image quality of more costly (and heavier, bulkier 'pro' plant ) mixed with the spontaneity and potency of a point & shoot, 1 hand camera.

The digital nikon coolpix camera DELIVERS all that for me in a great little package that is easy to use, light to hold, simple to navigate and still yields glorious prime quality pictures. At four hundred dollars out the door at a retail store, I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy. I did a head to head comparison against the rest of the cameras at that price point and it just blew the others out of the water.

If you have $800-$1000 sure, go ahead and get one of the next level dSLRs like the d40 or d60. But if you don't want to be dealing with lens changes and like to 'shoot-on-the-go', then you simply can not do better than the digital nikon coolpix camera. It's a versatile, easy to use product at a reasonable price.

The digital nikon coolpix camera is as easy to use as an automated point & shoot for the casual user, and all the knobs and bells and whistles like shutter priority, aperture concern and autofocus. You can shoot many frames per -sec for still photographs and can take videos.

Oh, and the price-tag is 25% less than the 4.0 mega-pixel camera that it replaced. I recommend buying a two year guaranty extension, available for about $15, a bargain.
