Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi is sporting a large-area 10.1 MegaPixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC II Image processor. Its brilliant 2.5-inch LCD monitor, that has approximately 230,000 pixels, offers wide viewing angle of 160 and brighter, easier-to-read menus. It offers fast 3 frames-per-second shooting with 27-frame burst and a startup time of only 0.2 seconds. It features Picture Style settings as well as the high-precision 9-point AF system that is used for speedy and accurate focusing.
Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi digital SLR camera is sporting a newly-refined, strong, lightweight body with an improved grip. With its Integrated Cleaning System that features both hardware and software solutions, it can deliver clean images. The system ensures the sensor is free of dust and debris by reducing the dust that can destroy images. It is the first digital EOS SLR camera that was designed with this important feature.
The Integrated Cleaning System cleans your camera in two ways, through Self Cleaning Sensor Unit and Dust Delete Data Detection. With the Self Cleaning Sensor Unit that uses ultrasonic vibration, dust is automatically removed. The Dust Delete Data Detection is a software that allows you to erase dust spots. It is included in the Digital Photo Professional (DPP) Version 2.2.
Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi digital SLR camera is fully compatible with over 60 EF and EF-S Lenses. These lenses were designed with advanced optical features to deliver exceptional photographic performance. Examples of these advanced features are the Aspherical optics and fluorite elements. Some lenses feature Canon's Image Stabilizer technology, which minimizes the effect of camera shake.
Also featuring is the E-TTL II flash metering system, which provides reliable flash output through several exposures. The camera perfectly suits Canon's Speedlite 430EX that includes a maximum guide number of 141 ft./43m at ISO 100.
