Horse Racing Photography

Some of the most amazing photographs are of horse racing. Horse racing photography is an addictive hobby especially as it captures the excitement of the day and you can almost feel the atmosphere when you are viewing them.
Horse racing photography is best achieved with a digital camera but you must bear in mind that you would be better off with equipment that will work with movies and still photographs. Another way to take fantastic photographs of horse racing is to mount a camera on a pair of binoculars. This way you will get some fantastic photographs.
To achieve the best results it is always best to leave the grandstand and your view and opportunities for great photographs could be obscured. Grab yourself a prominent position next to the course and you will be rewarded. Also you will get some great horse racing photographs is you are up at dawn especially if the horses are training.
If you are knew to photography it is always best to start off with a basic camera. Firstly because you will work out how to use it far quicker and also horse racing photography might turn out not to be your dream hobby.
Well when you've been taking your photo's for a while and its not just a flash in the pan then invest in some decent equipment. Race horse owners will pay for good, well shot horse racing photos and you will then have a hobby and an income.
