Fun Digital Photo Calendars

Are you leaving your finest photographs collecting digital dust on your hard drive? Do you have vivid, 'precious moment' images that you'd like to look at more often? If so, how about turning them into a one-of-a-kind, custom digital photo calendar?
To be realistic, not every photograph is worth a thousand words, but those that are, are priceless. These are the photos that you find yourself wanting to pull out every now and then to remember a special moment or to share with others. You can create a special way to have them available to show off to friends and family.
It is only natural to want to share your good times with others. Part of the fun in reliving these moments through snapshots is getting to share them with friends and family. But how can you do this, and what is the best way?
Well, one very cool way is by using a simple digital photo calendar. And just so we're clear, we're not talking about an actual 'digital photo calendar' here (although you could very well call it that) either. For simplicity's sake we just mean creating 'stunning' wall calendars using your own unique digital photos!
This is about creating a 'photo calendar that you can print up yourself or have printed to hang on your wall, or give to friends and family, sell on your website or show off through the Internetyou have an endless choice of possibilities.
So let's go ahead and actually build ourselves one of these cool little photo calendars.
Here's what you do.
To begin, simply pick out some of your favorite photos to be included in our project. Next involves a little bit of research, but I've done a bit of that to help you save some time and make things easier for you. Here are some places where you can easily transform your digital photos into a photo calendar
Here's a few websites that will make that transformation for you: www.bighugelabs.com, www.desktopwallpaperphotos.com, www.snapfish.com and www.cafepress.com. The first two sites listed will give you a free digital version of your calendar that you can download to your hard drive and then print out or save to a CD/take to a print shop. The others provide a 'real' wall or desk calendar that you can purchase and then 'send' to yourself, or a friend.
The only real 'trick' to turning your photos into a calendar is knowing which sites to use. The rest is actually pretty simple. The only other challenge you might face is how to prepare your photos before printing. There are many programs and tutorials that can help you edit your photos for print. If all else fails, should this prove to be a problem in time or effort, get someone to help.
Only a few more easy steps...
a) upload your photo/s to one of the photo calendar web sites above.
b) choose a specific calendar size and other details
3) Settle on a month and a year you want your calendar to have
$) Now hit the 'create' button or order your own calendar...
Simple, eh? Once you've done all that then you'll have yourself an enjoyable photo calendar that you can then download onto your hard drive as a .PDF, or maybe a jpeg image file... Or, if you're 'outsourcing' the printing, you can expect to receive your calendar in a week or so...
In the end, it's not too bad for a few minutes worth of work!
Now you have your digital photo calendar ready to be seen by everyone. Impress your friends by printing it onto a card, sending it by e-mail, give them as gifts or enjoy it yourself just by hanging it on your wall. Each time you see it you will be reminded of special times from the past and every time friends and family see their calendar they will be touched by how much you cared to share those moments with them!
